Stereograph from the Panorama of the Battle of Missionary Ridge, Dent and Waters' Mississippi Battery, painted 1883-1884. This was the 1st cyclorama produced by William Wehner's American Panorama Company, Milwaukee, by German artists commissioned to paint a realistic depiction of historical events. This cyclorama opened in Kansas City and toured American cities. It was destroyed by a tornado in Nashville, Tennessee. From Bennett's series ""Wanderings Among the Wonders and Beauties of Western Scenery.""
