- Description
This appears to be a photograph of a photograph. May be taken from the top of the Parfrey mill. It is looking directly east across the blocks between Court and Seminary Streets. The court house and the Park Hotel can be seen in the right background. A team of horses pulling a wagon are in the far left foreground. The smoke stack of the first electric light plant, operated by George Strang, can be seen in the center of the picture. This is originally cataloged at P000176-40, which is a better copy.
