BUILT: 1844 at Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
FINAL DISPOSITION: Burned at St. Louis on March 10, 1848

OTHER INFORMATION: Ways - 2629; Was advertised as running Pittsburgh to Dubuque in March 1844. Became a regular Pittsburgh-Cincinnati packet until spring 1847 when she was replaced by the Hibernia No. 2. She then ran Pittsburgh-Wheeling. After she burned, the wreck was returned to Jeffersonville, Indiana and there it remained until it sank in February 1851
