On the corner of Vaughn Ave and West 2nd Street, or Main Street, is the Bay Theater. The original art deco canopy is visible across the front façade; it is red, white, and blue with stretches of neon. On the left is a view of the storefronts along West 2nd Street.
The Bay Theater, located at 420 West 2nd Street, was built in 1937 and opened for business in 1938. Over the years it showed motion pictures and it is a movie theater today.
