Color transparency slide featuring frozen body of water, four unidentified men, tools, and sediment sampling equipment. Writing on the slide reads "Wiener, Sullivan (WDNR), Helwig (MPCA), Crawley (WDNR). Extruding L. Pepin sediment from core. Site A (upstream). 16 March 1989".
Item donated by the Upper Mississippi River Conservation Committee (UMRCC) to Murphy Library in 2018. Part of the UMRCC Collection housed at Murphy Library, University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
