Exterior view of the three story white Bedford stone building, the Ashland County Courthouse. Photograph was taken from 2nd Street West (Main Street West) looking North.
The present Ashland County Courthouse, located at 201 West 2nd Street (201 West Main Street) was built in 1915, and the county offices were moved in on Dec. 27, 1915. It was decided to hire the architectural services of H.W. Buemming and Henry Wildhagen, Associated Architects, and this building was constructed entirely of white Bedford stone.
