This photograph is one of 297 in set of three albums documenting the activities of Kewaunee Shipbuilding and Engineering Corporation between 1941 and 1946. This photograph depicts the inside of the pilot house along with its watertight entry door. The lower round cover is called darken ship cover which is installed over the window at night to prevent other ships from seeing light from the pilot house.
