Marquette University President Rev. John P. Raynor, S.J., and Ralph Schulz, trustee of the Wehr Foundation, were among the participants at the dedication and cornerstone-laying for the William Wehr Physics Building, November 9, 1973. Construction was begun in 1972 but cornerstone-laying ceremonies were postponed to focus on the completion of the Wehr Science Center.
