Divided back postcard of footbridge from east looking northwest at bridge, mill pond, and west side of town. 3 houses can be seen on west side of Pine River. 2 unidentified men are on the footbridge. Written along bottom of front of picture in white, “WEST SIDE FOOTBRIDGE RICHLAND CENTER WIS. X651”. Addressed to: “Miss. Verna Todd, Residence 1137, Elizebeth St. Madison Wisc.” Has a 1¢ stamp postmarked, “Richland Center, 4 Nov 1920”. Message, “Nov. 3, 1920. Dear Friend:-Hope you are all well. Mama was awfully tired when she got home, but is doing as well as can be expected. We were in town that forenoon but did not know that she was coming, but believe you me, we were surprised and glad. I am glad you could go and see her so often it was so much comfort to her. The rest of us are all well. I am real dignified now “I voted”. Mama wished that she could of. Abb'ly your Friend Duella.”
