- Description
The Northwestern Railway Depot. It was located along Railway Lane between Hazeldell and Central Avenues. The tracks, running t an angle, crossed route 8 and entered Crandon at its Northwestern corner. After running parallel to Railway Lane, they looped around and went out the same way they came in. Remnants of the track and crossing signs still remain in the North section of town. Lumber salvaged from the Depot at the time it was razed was used in the construction of homes built along the North side of Glen Street between Hazeldell and Central avenues.
