Photograph by W. P. Gundry of the Hutchison house at 407 N. Wisconsin St., Mineral Point. Elmore Hutchison, with his brother, James W., and his father, James Sr., organized the Iowa County Bank in 1885; the family was also prominent in the lumber business. The 1900 census indicates Elmore Hutchison as owner of this house and lists the household members as Elmore Hutchison, 45, banker; Amelia, wife, 44; Katherine, daughter, 13; Annette granddaughter 4; Josephine Francois 22 servant.
