Map of Colonial America east of Lake Michigan showing regions, cities, forts, Native American lands, mountains, lakes, and rivers. Crossed swords and small flags show the location of battles and forts in both the French and Indian War and the ongoing Revolutionary War. Le Rouge shows two locations of Fort Franc and Fort du Quesne, listing which cartographer placed the fort in which location. The map includes two inset maps, one of the Gulf Coast, and one of the Mississippi River Valley, and a small engraved illustration of Niagara Falls
