Joseph Brogan obituary: Richland Center, WI: Republican Observer, 20 Nov 1930: JOSEPH BROGAN PASSES AWAY, Pioneer Resident Dies After a Brief Illness, Joseph Brogan, for 73 years a resident of this city, died at his home on North Main street, Wednesday, November 12, after a brief illness. Mr. Brogan had been to the home of a friend Tuesday evening and while on his way home was stricken with heart trouble. He was taken to his home where on Wednesday he passed away. Joseph Brogan was born in Janesville and came to Richland Center with his parents when he was 3 years of age. This was his boyhood home, later he operated a farm in the town of Dayton but for many years past this city has been his home. Mr. Brogan was a man well liked by all, and in his death the city loses a good citizen. His friends and acquaintances were shocked to learn of his sudden passing. H
