Part of a collection of handmade chapbooks, most with cords for hanging (literatura de cordel), published by Ediciones Vigía under the auspices of the Cuban Ministry of Culture. Reproduced typescript on white paper with decorative borders and illustrations; wrappers, t.p., and preliminaries have illustrated, mounted colored paper cutouts; front wrapper collage depicts a mermaid holding a fish in a brown net; includes a decorated bookmark in the shape of a dolphin bearing the title, author’s name, and publisher.
