Standing behind the logs is the Parfrey Flour Mill, once the pride of Richland Center. Upon the logs are many of the employees of A. C. Parfrey, who at the time operated the veneer mill and also the excelsior factory. The excelsior mill was located at the west end of the dam. The picture shows the large force of men employed. Perhaps you can name some of the folks. Ed Parfrey is there, so is Charley Parfrey, Denver Knause, Charles Burns and Mark Northrop.
