This 1871 map of Wisconsin and portions of Minnesota, Michigan, Illinois and Iowa shows the major railway tracks and their connections in red and blue ink. Lakes, rivers and some cities are marked. At the bottom left of the map is a table giving railway mileage distance between major cities such as Chicago and Madison.
