- Description
This map shows townships and sections, landownership and acreages, roads, railroads, and selected rural buildings. Townships and sections appear in yellow, green, orange, pink, and blue. The top of the map below the title reads: "Weekly Advertiser and the Daily Herald-Advertiser." A box in the upper left corner reads: "The Weekly Advertiser is the only eight page paper published in county seat of Monroe County. It prints more news than any other paper in the county." A box in the upper right corner reads: "The Daily Herald-Advertiser is the only daily paper in the county. It has now reached its fourth year and is steadily leading the way as a progressive paper."
