This map shows the land that makes up Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Indiana, and parts of Canada. The Great Lakes are displayed prominently, along with several other rivers, lakes, counties, swamps, roads, towns, Indian residences, and various other points of interest. The creator of the map includes various descriptive information beyond place names such as the type of trees that grow in various regions or which rivers are navigable by canoes.
