- Description
Photo of the demolition of a building at the corner of Milwaukee and Franklin Streets. An advertisement for Wood's Carriages is painted on an exposed brick wall, and a sign for "The Hub: Clothes for Men" (219 West Milwaukee) protrudes over the street. Next door is Quaerna's, a long established tavern: This is said to have been the site of a stage coach terminal at one time.
