Incised on back: "A O Jorde 1897"
Wall hanging used to hold spools of thread. Scroll-cut openwork back. Half-circle pine shelf nailed to back, with bent-ash edge trim. Shelf features eleven metal rods or spikes, possibly hand-forged, for holding spools. Pendant pincushion of red velvet edged with green thumbtacks. Displayed in the kitchen of the Kvaale House, Old World Wisconsin.
