Exterior: Cloister Capital
Founded in 1016 by Bishop Hermengol and consecrated in 1040 by Bishop Eribau, the cathedral was rebuilt under Bishop Ot beginning in 1116. In 1175, Bishop Arnau de Perexens hired the Italian builder Raymond the Lombard to construct the vaults, stair towers, and the dome.
