Marquette football player William (Bill) Jennings, a 182-pound guard from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Jennings was a member of the team that played in the first Cotton Bowl on January 1, 1937. In 2011 the team was inducted into the Marquette Athletic Hall of Fame.
