Haas Fine Arts Center along the Chippewa River, photo taken from Putnam Park, July 1978. A popular place for students to hang out and professors to teach classes. Henry Putnam donate the land for Putnam Park in 1909 to the city of Eau Claire. The city transferred ownership of the land to the university in 1957. Haas Fine Arts Center and the footbridge in the background.
