This newly married, young Akha couple pose standing in front of their house in the village of Phate (PC 4793) in Houa Khong Province wearing traditional clothing, including the wife's elaborate silver headdress. Her husband wears the traditional young man's hat with pompoms turned down signifying he is married and a silver neck ring. Both wear silver bracelets.
