This postcard shows the First National Bank, built in 1919. The First National Bank originated in 1871 as the Dodgeville Bank, the first financial institution in Dodgeville. The bank is currently part of the Wells Fargo national chain of banks. This is an artists rendering of the bank building, located at the corner of North Iowa and Merrimac streets. The building in the distance to the right of the picture is the Plymouth Congregational Church.
