This picture was probably taken from the top of a lumber pile, looking slightly southeast, showing the main building of the Simmons Company with its smoking chimney. In the immediate foreground is the harbor; this part of the harbor was known as "Bull-Head Corner." The lumber yards belong to the Simmons Company.
