BUILT: 1852 at Brownsville, Pennsylvania

FINAL DISPOSITION: Dismantled at Mound City, Illinois circa 1863

OWNERS: James Holmes, Redmund J. Grace, William B. Holmes, J.A. Hutchison, R.S. Hayes, and Captain D.Y. Smithers

OFFICERS & CREW: Captain David T. Smithers (1852); Captain John W. Carroll (master, 1861)

RIVERS: Ohio River; Mississippi River

OTHER INFORMATION: Ways - 2734; Built at the Pringle yard, the largest sidewheeler ever built at Brownsville. Ran briefly Pittsburgh-Cincinnati. Then, while in the "Railroad Line", she ran Cairo-New Orleans
