This photograph shows the Treat Block building, which was built in 1852 and razed in 1967. A large poster on the side of the building reads, "You'll enjoy LaFendrich Cigars. Smokers like its new bite-proof head". Signs on the building to the right of the Treat Block read "Garcia y Vega" and "Badger Lite Company".

Clybourn St. Built in year 1852 and then originally consisted of 3 sections similar to the 1/3 of buildings remaining as shown. Built for the owners Augustus L. McCrea and William J. Bell bankers. Around year 1863 the grade of E Water Street was raised and due to this the building in time was also raised. / Wudtke Collection B39 / Have Negative
