Hatshepsut's tomb as viewed from afar.
Located in the archaeological site of Dayr al-Bahri in the ancient necropolis of Thebes, the temple of Queen Hatshepsut was built in 1470 BCE. In 1997, it was the site of a terrorist attack killing 60 people.
