- Description
This pine or basswood washstand retains what is most likely its original mustard-yellow paint. The two-board top is beveled at the front and sides, as is the shaped backsplash. The turned towel racks terminate in acorn finials. The front rack supports are slotted and nailed into the frame. The lower shelf is dovetailed into the square tapered legs. The single drawer is joined with nails at the front and back. The flat drawer bottom is nailed to the front, back, and sides. The white porcelain pull is a replacement.
