This photograph shows a wood-frame building on the corner of N Jefferson and E Michigan streets. Signs on the building read, "M. E. Malone, Contractor & Builder. Job work promptly attended to. Telephone 1453. 150" and "G. N. Sanford, House and Sign Painter." Lettering on one of the windows reads, "Paper hanging and calcimining".
