- Description
Flock of sheep in pasture with blossoming apple trees and barns of Cornfalfa Farms in background. The diaries of Peter Morgan Swartz and his heirs indicate sheep were raised on the farm over at least a 100 year span. Peter Morgan raised Merino and Shropshire sheep; his sons added Karakul sheep in 1927. In 1917 over 700 sheep were fed. The following images are scenes related to sheep raising activities over the span of 1915-1938
