Katherine Putnam Residence Hall, lower campus, ca. 1970s-1980s. Putnam Hall opened in 1958. It was originally named Horan Hall but changed to Putnam Hall in 1962, after Katherine Putnam Schrauff, daughter of H.C. Putnam, an Eau Claire lumberman.
