Maker's mark impressed in oval, near mouth: "Th. Gunther/ Sheboygan." Impressed two-gallon capacity mark.
Cylindrical salt-glazed stoneware crock with slightly sloping walls. Single incised line around body at the level of the two crescent-shaped lug handles. Interior coated in dark brown slip.
