- Description
Trees and branches frame a large, regal two story home. A streetlight with a parking sign blocks a small portion of the house. This photo is looking southwest. The building stood near the corner of Biddle and Astor until Biddle and Cedar bridged the Milwaukee river and were renamed Kilbourn Avenue. It was likely removed sometime between 1926 and 1961, probably during the widening of Kilbourn Avenue.
Paved 2. Mary Ellen Sitori. Taken 6/23/39 Fri. Pavement.
