- Description
This image is from Volume 1 of 100 years of pictorial & descriptive history of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, while the quoted description is from Volume 2. "The present cement bridge was designed and constructed under the supervision of the State Highway Commission. The bridge was dedicated as "Grand Avenue Bridge" Oct. 18, 1922. These two views of the present bridge speak for it without much further comment. The "end view" was taken from the roof of the River Block."
