Oral history interviews with Tony Schroeder and Mr. and Mrs. John Geraths, Mrs. Francis Ballweg, and Mr. and Mrs. Alex Strumpf. Reminiscing about German Kölsch parties. Kölsch is a beer that originated in Cologne, Germany. Slice-of-life stories about school escapades including the long trek to school, John Brumm's store in Middleton, cutting 20 cords of wood to exchange for clothing, Julia Schultz taking milk to the creamery, the Bachmeier's Depot. A Kolsch dialect is used.
