Temple of Bacchus, Baalbek [Ba'labakk], F.G.C. Syria [Photographer's Note incorrect: Lebanon]. 1928
UNESCO World Heritage Site, Ba'labakk was an ancient city built during the reign of Roman Antoninus Pius 138-161. It was known as a place to worship the Semitic sun-god, Baal.
