- Description
Despite its title, this heavily illustrated volume is a thorough survey of all the CCC camps spread across the northern two-thirds of Wisconsin. Laid out like a high school or college yearbook, it provides two or three pages of photographs and text about each of 46 CCC camps, from Viroqua in the southwest to Phelps in the northeast. The officers and workers in each camp are pictured and the nature and the extent of their work is described. Ten camps disbanded before 1937 are briefly described on pages 181-187. Use the search box at the upper left of the document viewer to search for specific locations or individual people.
