This folder provides some insight into the establishment of the various Freedom Summer projects, reveals the resistance they faced within Mississippi, and gives a glimpse into internal trouble that inevitably resulted from attempting such a massive undertaking. Highlights include the ""First Draft Report on the Mississippi Voter Registration Project,"" ""Progress and Problems of the COFO Community Centers,"" and the ""Staff Meeting on the Closing of the Jackson Office.""
