A view of the formerly ornate Republican House Hotel after the removal of 2 large towers. The hotel had been a grand and popular gathering spot for German businessmen over its lifespan from 1884 to 1961.
March 1959. NW corner of W Kilbourn Ave and N 3rd St. Picture shows alterations as removal of towers and various balconies etc. Building now owned by the Milwaukee Company. Razed 1961.
