This photograph shows a portion of what today is known as Old World 3rd St, looking north from W Wisconsin Ave. At right is the Hotel Wisconsin, and a little further down the street the Princess Theater is playing "Black Moon", a horror film released in 1934. At left in the distance is the Gayety burlesque theater.
No on 3rd from Wis Ave / Aug. Riemenschneider / No Negative / N. 3rd St. Aug Riemenschneider. Looking north up 700 block of N. 3rd from W. Wisconsin, about 1934. The Hotel Wisconsin (720 N. 3rd) is at right, and up the street at left is the Gayety burlesque theater (753 N. 3rd). A theater just up the street from the Hotel Wisconsin, which may be the Princess Theater (738 N 3rd) appears to be showing "Black Moon", a 1934 horror picture.
