Area 'Alice' Winners

This photograph was published in the La Crosse Tribune on May 24, 1964. The photograph's caption reads: "These two La Crosse area girls were chosen Saturday to compete in Milwaukee finals for Wisconsin's Alice In Dairyland. They are shown following the judging at the La Crosse State College Student Union, Kay Jameson, 18, of Wyeville, who plans to be an X-Ray technician (left) poses with Lois Hanson, 19, of R. 5, Viroqua, a sophomore in business education at the University of Wisconsin." On the envelope housing the negative is written: "May 23, 1964. Alice in Dairyland - semi-finalists at La Crosse State College."
