January 6, 1938. Masena, Kenya: A broader view of the dairy, the residences, and the pasture land. One point of interest here is the group of kennels stretching out from a building on this side of the U-shaped group of buildings near the road. Dogs brought to the veterinary officer are housed and cared for here. Mostly the kennels were filled with dogs suspected of having rabies, for England has extended her antirabies drive even into the colonies. The suspected dog is incarcerated for 6 months. 6300 feet. 09:10.
