- Description
This photograph shows an old wooden fence on S Kinnickinnic Ave. The fence is crooked, partially collapsed, and plastered over with posters advertising various venues and events. Included among them are Warner's Lake (with a double feature and road show attraction), the Middleweights World Championship at the Milwaukee Auditorium (Jones vs. Firpo, Littman vs. Everett with a special feature of Johnny Saunders vs Jack Robinson), and the Modjeska Theater. A faded billboard on the side of a large brick building advertises for Gridley Milk.
