- Description
Two trees with roots growing both above and below ground grew in front of Kaukauna Public Library. A gardener (name unknown) cut off the tops of the trees. He replaced them with the roots of other trees, grafting the roots upside down on the trunks. The new roots grew foliage and the trees lived.
