Newspaper Clipping Description: Black and white picture of three men standing in front of a locomotive. Front Print: “REPUBLICAN OBSERVER, Richland Center, Wisconsin, Thursday, April 20, 1961, This picture of the train that used to run from Cazenovia to LaValle was taken in 1911. It was called the Cazenovia-Sauk City Line although it was never built as far as Sauk City. The engineer (center) is Ed Brennan and the conductor (right) is Ed Mead. The brakeman is a Mr. Ewing. There will be more about Cazenovia and the Cazenovia-LaValle railroad in the ‘Know Your Neighbor’ feature in next week’s Republican Observer.
