W.D. McIntyre Library, winter scene, January 1994. Garfield Avenue entrance to the library, view from across the Chippewa River by the Haas Fine Arts Center under the footbridge. The original library (now called the "Old Library") opened in 1960 and the 5 story addition opened in 1972. Named after William D. McIntyre, President of the Board of Regents of State Colleges from 1950-1963.
