This photograph shows the R & R Food Market on the corner of N 8th St and W North Ave. The building was built in the late 1800's, and razed in 1964. A large billboard advertising Miller High Life sits atop the building next door.
Sep 63 / Sept 10 1963 / Old building at the southwest corner of W. North Ave and N. 8th St. Grocery and residence of Frederick Uecker 1873 to 1885 followed by Balthazar Frank also a grocer. Up to around the year of 1917, Frank died April 10, 1917. Occupied by various others up to sround the time of being razed year 1964. / Wudtke Collection / A 476
