View of two story brick buliding with corbel table, two over four windows with hoods and outside blinds, and large storefront windows with awnings. Paneled and corbeled chimneys adorn rooftop. Pedestrians stand and pass by on wooden sidewalk.
The old Byron Kilbourn residence, 4th and Grand (later site of Espenhains). Built 1854-5 at a cost of $18,000. Occupied by Kilbourn until about 1868. Storefront added 1869. Later owned by J.R.Boud; Herman Nunnemaclerl who built an addition; Plankington. Razed May 1886.
